10th Annual National Night Out.

For the 10th year the Overland Park Coalition Against Drug Crime hosted the National Night Out. National Night Out is a wonderful program that brings neighborhoods together.

Nearly 400 people enjoyed an almost perfect evening.. This event also marks the 10th anniversary of the Overland Park Coalition. We were proud to honor the people that started the Coalition. Teresa Swanson who founded and lead the Coalition for the first 5 years, Dee Lewitz who has served as co-leader for the entire 10 years, and Caroline Conner who has served as treasurer for the entire 10 years.

We talked about the wonderful support the county agencies has given the Coalition over the past ten years. Commissioner Savas attended and said a few words.

We honored Assistant District Attorney Bill Stewart with an award for several years of dedicated service to the Overland Park neighborhood.
